The movie Bewafaa is a story of betray in love as the name suggests but it is the betray due to unfavorable situations.Film is counted under genre of love, romance, family drama and betray.Story of movie is about a girl Anjali who falls in love with a musician, Raja while living in Canada.She hides this relationship from her parents.But unfortunately her sister dies leaving behind her two children and husband.Anjali takes it as a responsibility to care for the small children, so she sacrifices her love, returns  to Delhi, India and marries the husband of her sister.But after some time Raja comes to Delhi for a music tour their love ignites again.And thus the story then goes.All in all the movie is cool and is enjoyable.There are many good songs in the movie which you would love to hear.

Climb on the ROWDY RATHORE Musical Ride

Taking the risk of sounding snobbish or of disappointing some readers, I have to own up to the fact that Sajid-Wajid have seldom been my favorite soundtrack composers. I acknowledge that they are talented and I do believe they have their moments of brilliance but I have sadly never been 100% captivated by a full album of theirs and have always thought that creating a high quality masala soundtrack is a titanic task. The Rowdy Rathore soundtrack however has the merit of having definitely caught my attention and I therefore could not ignore the opportunity of writing something positive about the composers. What follows is a brief account of each track and our recommendations.

'Dhadang Dhang' sets the tone with a powerful and fun groove sung by Wajid and Shreya Goshal. Both the melody, rendition and singing styles transport us to the 1990s and its masala sound. We think the song will be doing the rounds of radio stations and have people humming "dhadang dhang" day in day out.

 'Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita' is another more modern sounding masala track with the characteristic Mika Singh style sticking the repetitive tune in our memory, occasional bansari and all.

"Rowdy" is the proper adjective for 'Aa Re Pritam Pyaare' and the combination of Mamta Sharma's voice with a fast paced background filled with percussions and creative arrangements where there are just the right amount of instrument and rhythm layers to give the listener the impression of rich sound without overwhelming.

The 1990s are clearly paid homage to in 'Chamak Challo Chel Chabeli' which could have been taking right out of one of that decade's film hits. It is an absolute delight to listen to Shreya Ghoshal paired with  Kumar Sanu. How this blogger wishes to listen to him more often in new soundtracks! 

The homage continues in full fledged fashion through 'Tera Ishq Bada Teekha' with a lovey performance in 90s style by Javed Ali and Shreya Ghoshal.

Yes, I am a Shreya Ghoshal admirer but I have to say I am still to find a performance by her where I find true flaws. 'Chandaniya (Lori Lori)' has a quiet charm that could only be enhanced by Shreya's voice.

Akshay Kumar provides thunderous dialogues for the final 'Rowdy Mix', which brings us back to 2012. The Mix provides the nightclub sound that will promote the film throughout India's young hangouts and should possibly be given a "music video" picturization. 

All in all, the Rowdy Rathore soundtrack pledges full allegiance to the 1990s sound in Bollywood and should be enjoyed by all those who enjoy that masala 90s vibe!

Akshay Kumar has always been an actor I yearned to be able to love on screen. Time after time, I watched his films hoping he would deliver his talent as smoothly as I remembered him in for example  Namastey London. One film after the other, I came out of the spectator experience thinking “All right, maybe next film”…

Don’t get me wrong. I understand that he is an unparalleled martial arts action hero and that most of his films are supposed to be light mainstream entertainment. I also know how huge his fan base is and the law of the majority has indeed motivated me to keep attempting to love his work.

When I decided to watch Thank You, I thought the casting, namely Irrfan, a solid actor, and the beautiful chick flick sensation, Sonam Kapoor, would stave off any derogatory plot towards women. I was sure that it guaranteed an emotional content that would be touching and entertaining. I hate to say that I am once again left thinking that Mr. Kumar can do better than this. He has mentioned in the past that he wishes to act in a role that will show his more emotional or vulnerable side, expressing that he wants to explore and prove his talent in various roles, moving beyond his image as an athlete-actor capable of delivering simple humour and complex action on screen. 

 
After watching Thank You, my opinion is that this is not yet the film with which he is to achieve this goal. The script is supposed to be romantic but something doesn't ring quite right. One thing is sure, success cannot last on pure stardom. I wonder what motivated Twinkle Khanna to produce the film or the actors to act in it. But let’s begin by explaining the plot and saying what exactly was that left me so perplex.

In a nutshell, three married young women (Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitley, Rimmi Sen) discover that their respective husbands (Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Irrfan Khan) cheat on them with abandon and regularity. The ladies come to this realisation thanks to the services of private detective Kishan (Akshay Kumar). The entire film focuses on how guys are so terrible and  deserve to be bashed and how girls totally and absolutely depend on them to think, be happy, fulfill themselves, eat, drink, be merry, blink or basically… to simply exist.

Yes sir, behind a “feministic” plot, lies the tinge of sexism that other Akshay Kumar movies such as Kambakkht Ishq have already been criticized for in the past. It must be said in addition to this that neither Bobby Deol nor Irrfan look really convincing as gigolo husbands. I believe this has to do more with the script than their acting capabilities.

So yes, what these men are doing to their wives can be rated as despicable: repeatedly cheating, verbally or psychologically abusing them, etc. But in the end, why would a woman-empowering flick imply that these three women as well of dozens of others need to have a suave and seductive private detective to guide them through what they have to do in order to find their worth and live their lives or even prevent them from committing suicide?

Maybe my “feminist” outlook cannot understand this type of logic. However, I know more films coming from India which are much less condescending towards women in their plot and tone. I also know films in which the men don't need to be hyper-punished or asked to behave as shopping mall "slaves" to make up for their sins. Sexism goes both ways.

If I did not write reviews, I confess this would be the last Akshay Kumar straw for me. But hey, let’s hope he selects a script that will really put his talent to work for a good message and not only light macho man entertainment. If he still wishes to stick to the latter movie style, my humble advice would be to stick to action flicks and leave us women alone. Hoping to write a review on a good film of his in the near future.  Inch’allah.

SONAKSHI and AKSHAY KUMAR in the land of Babel

When Sonakshi Sinha made her appearance opposite Salman Khan in 'Dabangg' critics raved about her performance and her beauty. It came therefore as no surprise when Sinha was roped in to act opposite Akshay Kumar in what has been called an ambitious project right from the start: Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'.

The film was pitched to many takers and finally found its ideal co-producer in Akshay Kumar himself, through his company, Hari Om Entertainment. Kunder's dream film is a 3D superhero action comedy.

As if  finding a suitable producer and using 3D technology with an established male star and a highly promising fresh face were not enough, rumour has it that Shirish Kunder has wanted to pull the film's music a notch up by writing a "dance fusion" feature song in 10 different languages: Hindi, English, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.  The hip hop tune will be sung by Daler Mehendi and has been composed by G.V. Prakash. Sonakshi and Akshay Kumar will sing to the song, dancing to the choreography of Farah Khan.

Until today, the multilanguage record for a song belonged to the track "Angrezi Mein Kehte Hai" from 1982 film 'Khud-Daar', starring Amitabh Bachchan, featuring 5 different languages (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Bengali).

This movie falls under the genre of drama and action movies with a quality story. The story of the movie Amaanat revolves around a poor villager Vijay ( Sanjay Dutt ) whole lives with his young sister and mother. His sister was nearing her marriage so he decided to go to the city to earn some money for her marriage. Vijay headed towards the city of dreams Mumbai. When he reached there he bumped into a trickster and conman Amar ( Akshay Kumar ). Soon they became very good friends. Simple Vijay never knew about Amar’s work and so he decided to live at his place for the time being.Slowly he managed to get a job with a firm owned by a wealthy business man Aggarwal Seth’s ( Mukesh Khanna ). His hardworking attitude and simple nature helped him win the trust of the owner and he became one of the most important employees of the company. Time passed by and it seemed to him that he has earned enough money for his sister’s weeding hence he decided to return back. As he reached his village he was completely devastated to see his worst nightmare. Lankeshwar ( Kiran Kumar ), the powerful man in the village has destroyed his dreams. What happens next? This gives an interesting turn. Contribution by Akshay Kumar Is superb. Overall, movie is nice and enjoyable. The movie was above average at Box office.

Music of the movie is composed by Bappi Lahiri. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of  Kumar Sanu, Ila Arun, Alka Yagnik, Bappli Lahiri with few others.

Soon he tricked her into his web and both ended up in love. Raja revealed his identity to Pooja as he has fallen in love with her truly. At the same time Vidya Prakash ( Anupam Kher ), the father of Pooja was being blackmailed by a criminal Rocky ( Akshay Kumar ). When Pooja took Raja to meet her father, he was terrified to see his nightmare in front of his eyes. But he was relieved to hear that Raja is a lookalike of Rocky and Pooja loved him and both wanted to marry each other. Prakash placed one condition before Raja, if he wants to marry Pooja and that is, he has to help him to get rid of Rocky. And that's the story. Movie was popular and is interesting. Film won many nominations and awards as well.

Music And Singers:

The pleasant music of the movie is composed by famous trio Dilip Sen, Sameer Sen and Surendra Singh Sodh.  While songs are sung beautifully by Abhijeet, Udit Narayan, Hariharan, Anuradha Paudawal, Vinod Rathod, Remo Farnandes and Alisha Chinoi.

Bollywood DIWALI RELEASES 2010

Firecrackers, light and celebration will welcome two awaited films starring some of  Hindi cinema's most coveted stars. It is time for this year's Diwali releases on the silver screen!


Audiences might have a tough time deciding whether to enjoy Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3, with Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgan or Vipul Shah's Action Replayy, starring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai.

While Action Replayy is being promoted as a retro comedy, Golmaal 3, a family comedy, will also include a glimpse of the past by featuring Mithun Chakraborty alongside the film's stars and letting India's favorite Disco Dancer tunes incidentally appear in the film from time to time :-)

Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar visited Dubai for Action Replayy's world premiere while Kareena promoted Golmaal 3 in Delhi and the rest of the cast prepared a KBC Diwali special to promote the movie. Both films release on Friday November 5th. The countdown has begun!

AKSHAY KUMAR TO WOW AUDIENCES WITH 4-D SEQUEL TO “Heyy Babyy” (Humour/spoof)

Rumors have been flying around Akshay Kumar’s loyal fandom in anticipation of an amazing follow-up to the super hit “Heyy Babyy” which shall release this spring. The film promises to be a first in Indian cinema. Always wanting to reach for the next level, Akshay Kumar is bringing the innovative magic of 4-D technology to a theatre near you.

Although the much awaited sequel follows a familiar story-line chocked full of handsome heroes, gorgeous heroines, and plenty of masala drama mixed in with slapstick comedy, this time AK promises to bring you an experience like no other. Sources close to Kumar’s camp tell us that the film is definitely going to make audiences a part of the action: from sneezing to wheezing to coughing, “Hayy Feverr” indeed promises to give audiences a “blast” of excitement.

“Avatar in 3-D was nice,” says the actor, “but I think my film can definitely hold its own against the blue people.” He later added, “I always want to leave my audiences with something special after they leave the Cineplex, so this time the effect will prove to be quite… contagious.”

These tidbits should keep audiences on the edge of their multiplex seats for the much awaited sequel. Be sure to bring an umbrella, as the film sneezes its way into theatres near the end of spring pollen season 2010.

Hera Pheri group is back and again I am the first to add De Dhana Dhan songs. De Dana Dan starring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Katrina Kaif in lead roles is a upcoming comedy film directed by Priyadarshan (director of Billu Barber & Bhool Bhulaiyaa) . While Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy are in supporting roles.

The music has already created a buzz, as alot of us are searching for it, but I haven't even checked out the trailer.. The film is going to be released on November 27, 2009. And the music is from Pritam (probably he has released more than 10 albums this year:). I truly could not listen any songs, let me know how are they. I hope you love them..

A R Rahman - Blue, there has been a recent buzz, and why won't there be a craze, as A R Rahman is the music director. These are his first songs after the Oscars and there have been alot of expectations, and it doesn't disappoint. I have heard all the songs and loved the six-singers packed 'blue theme' fiqrana the most (really a great tune and great vocals). Others are also good, or say with A R Rahman brand I guess I don't need to tell that:)
Blue is an upcoming film slated for a release on 16th october 2009, and is starring Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan while Kylie Minogue makes a guest appearance in the movie . It is an action film that is centered around an underwater treasure guarded by sharks. Blue is about a treasure that is buried 250 feet deep at the bottom of an ocean and is guarded by about 40 sharks. The lead characters of the movie are in search of the treasure.
