Anand Ashram 1977: Songs And Review

Anand Ashram was directed by Shakti Samanta in the year 1977.


Star Cast:


The movie stars Uttam Kumar, Sharmila Tagore, Rakesh Roshan, Ashok Kumar and Moushumi Chatterjee in lead roles. Other supporting star cast includes Asit Sen, Utpal Dutt, Prema Narayan and Alankar Joshi in various important roles. 


Movie Review:

This old hindi bollywood is a family drama film about Deepak. Story starts with Dr. Deepak (Uttam Kumar) who lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small town alongwith his father (Ashok Kumar) who is a Thakur. One day Deepak sees a gorgeous woman named Asha (Sharmila Tagore) who comes froma a very poor family. He falls in love with her and wants to marry her. When his father comes to know that Deepak loves Asha who is a poor girl and not for his type, he refuses for their marriage and would like to get Deepak to marry a woman from an equally wealthy family. But Deepak stands with his love which displeases Thakur. He asks Deepak to leave his house, never to return. After a few months his employee named Girdhari (Asit Sen) finds an abandoned child named Pratap, by the river bank. He would like to adopt him and therefore he asks Thakur. 
Thakur does not want anything to do with the child first but when he sees him for the first time, he agrees with Girdhari. After many years later Pratap (Rakesh Roshan) has also grown up and travels abroad to study in order to be a doctor. After that he returns and decides to work with a chemical company. Later he meets with a beautiful woman named Kiran (Moushumi Chatterjee), her father (Utpal Dutt) and an elderly man named Doctor. Pratap is disturbed after meeting doctor as he seems to know him very well. Doctor wants him to leave his job at the chemical company and start practicing medicine in the small town where they live. Nobody knows that the doctor whose real name is Deepak, is his biological father.And thus story goes. Overall, movie is nice and enjoyable.It did well at Box office.


Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is composed by Shyamal Mitra. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of  Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and K.J. Yesudas who gave their soulful voice to the songs.

Alag Alag 1985: Movie Review, Posters And Songs

Alag Alag was directed by Shakti Samanta in the year 1985.


Star Cast:

Movie stars Rajesh Khanna and Tina Munim in lead roles. Other supporting star cast includes Deven Verma, Shakti Kapoor, Om Parkesh, Om Shiv Puri, Shashi Kapoor, Sushma Seth, Urmila Bhatt, Gita Siddharth, Bhagwan, Bharat Bhushan, Bindu, Chandrashekhar, Satyen Kappu, Asit Sen and Gurbachan.


Movie Review:

This bollywood movie is a fine work showing off romance and struggle.The movie Alag Alag comes up with a story that revolves around the life of an aspiring young girl and a talented singer. The movie is fully packed with action and romantic sequences. The story of the movie focuses on the life of a young village girl Chandni ( Tina Munim ), she is illiterate and has never seen a school yet she dreams of becoming rich one day, she wants to enjoy all the luxuries of a wealthy life style. She finds it no offence to marry a man who even is much older than her. She decided that staying in a village won’t help her in achieving her dreams.Hence she moved to the city of Mumbai where she could find a way to achieve her goals. Soon after arriving Mumbai she came across a rich and handsome man Dr. Rana ( Shashi Kapoor ), who was previously married by his wife passed away. Soon she and Dr Rana came close to each other and hence she decided to live with him. The story of a young aspiring singer Neeraj ( Rajesh Khanna ) runs in parallel with Chandni’s. He wanted to become a big singer but success is far away from him. One day he came across an aspiring actress Sarita ( Bindu ) and wasstories into a same story is quiet interesting.And thus story continues with interest. All in all, movie is good and enjoyable. It was popular and was nominated for many awards. completely dazzled by her beauty and soon he was in love with her, both Sarita and neeraj also started living together. What brings these two

Music of the movie is directed and composed by famous music director R.D Burman. Songs are well sung by Asha Bhosle, Vijay Yesudas, Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.

Alaap 1977: Old Hindi Songs And Movie Review

Alaap was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in the year 1977.

Movie stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in lead roles.Other supporting star cast includes Chhaya Devi, G. Asrani, Manmohan Krishna, Lily Chakravarty, Farida Jalal, Om Prakash, Yunus Parvez, Vijay Sharma, Benjamin Gilani, Lalita Kumari etc in important roles.


Movie Review:

This old hindi bollywood movie is a musical drama along with family and finance.Movie starts with Triloki Prasad (Om Prakash) who is an advocate lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small town with his two sons named Ashok Prasad (Vijay Sharma) who is also an advocate and is married to Geeta (Lily Chakravarty) and his second son named Alok Prasad (Amitabh Bachchan) who has yet to settle down in their law firm. Alok loves music and therefore he has also joined the classes run by Pandit Jamuna Prasad (A.K. Hangal). One day when Alok returns from the classes, his father asks him to assist his brother to their law firm and start learning to practice. He agrees to do so. After sometime his father comes to know that he has not been at the firm but is instead spending time in the local slums with a former courtesan named Sarju Bai Banaraswali (Chhaya Devi).Triloki warns Alok to leave her but continues to visit Sarju Bai. One day Mr. Gupta (Yunus Parvez) approaches Triloki about taking possession and demolishing the slum area. Triloki agrees quickly and manages to sway the Court’s decision in Gupta’s favor and in return he gets a huge amount from him. As a result many people become homeless. Triloki asks Alok to buy a second hand car from the money of Mr. Gupta. He takes the money and buys a horse-carriage and decides to drive it himself to make a living which engrages Triloki. He orders him to leave the house. Later he decides to hire motor coaches to transport people at a much cheaper price when he observes that Alok is doing well in his business. He thinks that this move will perhaps forcing him to reconsider his decision, apologize, and return home.And hence it all goes.Overall, movie is good and cheerful.Like always Amitabh Bachchan played awesome.

Music of the movie is composed by Jaidev. And songs are sung in beautiful voices of G. Asrani, Dilraj Kaur, Lata Mangeshkar, Bhupendra Singh, K.J. Yesudas, Madhurani etc.
