One fine day a rich and wealthy zamindar paseed by.He saw Sohan and sent a request to the couple that he wants Sohan to live with them for ten days as his wife doesn't have a child.After ten days he comes and begs to Mamta if he could keep Sohan with him for the rest of his life.The couple agree in great tears.Now Mohan is angry and troubled.His father scolds him and he is runs out of the house. Now the couple lead a childless life.Years later Mamta is seriouly sick and is in a position to die.He asks Dinu to bring Sohan from the Zamindar.When Dinu reaches the Zaindar's house he finds Suraj who is the real son of Zamindar and he tells Dinu that Sohan was asked to leave years ago.He is desparate and socked.Dinu loses his mental balance and memory.He then wanders on streets aimlessly.What happens next? Is Mamta able to meet any of his son? It is the story.

Movie stars Jeetendra, Rekha, Rishi Kapoor, Neelam, Raj Babbar and Poonam Dhillon in lead roles. Other supporting star cast includes Dan Dhanoa, Pran, Gurbachchan Singh, Rajesh Puri, Jayshree Gadkar, Chand Usmani, Lalita Kumari, Yunus Parvez, Shakti Kapoor, Tiku Talsania.

Movie Review:

The movie is a bollywood drama eluding around marriage.Movie starts with Kedarnath (Om Shivpuri) who lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay and he is a businessman by profession. Once he goes to meet his chilhood friend named Narayan (Pran) who lives in a small town far away. Narayan lives there with his wife named Laxmi (Urmila Bhatt) and a daughter named Rani (Poonam Dhillon). Kedarnath reaches there and meets him open heartedly. There he sees Rani who is now of a marriageable age and he proposed her for his son named Rajesh (Raj Babbar). Narayan and his wife become very happy listening this proposal and they quickly get agree. Soon marriage takes place and Rani moves to the city with Rajesh. But she is shocked to see that her mother-in-law named Sheila (Rohini Hattangadi) does not comes to welcome her.Also her sister-in-laws named Jyoti (Neelam) and Pinky (Geetika) illtreated her. She is slapped and humiliated on every possible occasion. After sometime she comes to know that Jyoti had been married in Bharadwaj family in her childhood. Now Deepak Bharadwaj (Rishi Kapoor) has grown up and comes to claim Jyoti as his wife. But her mother, Rajesh and also Jyoti does not accept him in their family. Unfortunately Kedarnath passes away and Deepak and Rani are ask to leave the house. Sheila decides to marry Rajesh with a young woman named Sona (Rekha) who is very rich and beautiful who will come with huge dowry. Sheila does not know that Sona has some different plans after coming into that house.Overall, the movie is cool and entertaining. It did well at the Box Office and gained popularity in time of its release.

Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is by famous duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of  Kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Paudwal, Alka Yagnik etc.
