Coolie No 1 is counted under the genre of comedy, drama and romance. The movie shows the story of a somewhat greedy and selfish man Hoshyaarchand. He never hesistate to humiliate anyone anywhere. Once, Pandit Shaadiram take a boy's family to his house who were interested in her daughter. But Hoshyaarchand insulted them and Pandit and told him he wants a son in law who is at least forty times richer then him. Feeling disgraced Shaadiram goes to Raju ( Coolie No 1) and tells the case. He requests him to play a game to teach Hoshyaarchand a lesson. Then they pretend Raju to be son of Asia's richest man. Raju had fallen in love with Hoshyaarchand's daughter long before the Pandit took the guy's family to her house. And after a lot of boot licking by Hoshiyaachand Raju is married to her daughter. And after that they try to continue the drama they started, which makes the things more hilarious. Overall, the movie is very good. Coolie No 1 songs are also very nice.
