Chamatkar is counted under the genre of comedy, drama and fantasy. The movie shows a story about a boy named Sunder Shrivastava, he is sober and wants to fulfill his fathers dream of opening a school on his half acres of land in a village. His friend Prem who loves in Bombay tells him he can give him a job earning high, so that he can start the school within two years. Sunder trusts Prem and hands Rs. 10,000 to him. Then Sunder goes to Bombay. There he gets robbed, and loses his money and luggage. Even worse, when he reaches Prem's lounge he gets a apology letter from Prem telling he used his money to go to Dubai and will repay him as soon as possible. Now what will Sunder do? He also comes across a spirit that helps him, but how? It is the story. Chamatkar songs are also very good.
