Chalte Chalte is counted under the genre of music and romance. The movie shows the story of a simple and beautiful girl Geeta. She has fallen in love with a young guy. The guy also falls in love with her and both decide to get married and start a happy marriage life. But fate doesn't accept it and the guy passes away before the marriage. Geeta couldn't bear the shock, she loses her senses and is admitted to a mental hospital. A few years later she recovers and is set free. But then she finds that thr guy is alive, he calls himself Ravi and is in love with a girl Asha. Geeta couldn't believe it and she tries to make Ravi her own. But she fails and is again admitted to the mental hospital. Then one fine day Ravi moves to abroad leaving Asha alone. Now, Geeta has to make up with Asha as she thinks Asha is responsible to snatch away her love. What happens then? How the distortion sorts out? It is the story. All in all the movie is good and shows allot of love and drama. Chalte Chalte songs are also very nice.
