Chaahat Ek Nasha is counted under the genre of romance and drama. The movie shows the story of a girl, Rashmi who lives a rich and high class lifestyle with her widowed father. She aspires to be a dancer and singer. She is a huge fan of Mallika Arora and sends her gifts and wishes on many occasions. She prepares herself and approaches R.K Music Co. which is headed by Rahul Kapoor. Rahul is looking for a fresh talent and hence he gives Rashmi a chance. Together they produce allot of quality albums which became very popular. Soon, they fall in love with each other. But Rashmi's dad is against their marriage. What happens then? It is the story. Overall, the movie is good and a one time watch. Chaahat Ek Nasha songs are also nice.
