Boxer as the name suggests a movie that deals with boxing and a boxer's life. It can be counted under the genre of crime, action, drama and adventure. The movie shows Dharma who works as a boxer in Kashmir Silk Mills, but unfortunately he loses a match one day, is badly injured and then fired from his company. He becomes alcoholic and starts ignoring his pregnant wife and small son Shankar. Situation worsens on birth of second child. Moved by situation Shankar starts stealing. Time passes and now Shankar is a criminal. He is caught by police for stealing a watch and is sentenced to prison. There he meets a boxing coach and trains with him. Now the time has come for him to enter the boxing championship. And thus the story goes. All in all the movie is cool and enjoyable. Boxer songs are also very nice.
