Movie Review:
The movie is a critical story about a women who fells in love but her fate doesn't give her any happiness.She is discarded by her love, her father and her in laws.Moreover, one day when she wakes up she finds herself in a brothel.
Movie shows Zeenat Jahan Begum who lives with her father and bua in Lucknow.They have lost their wealth and lack money but they have rented half of their mansion and pretend to be rich.They eat Kichdi and call it Dal Pulao.Zeenat is in love with Yusuf and wants to marry him.Zeenat's father arranged her marriage.She thinks that her marriage is arranged with Yusuf but is shocked when she finds that her father has arranged her marriage with a very rich nawab Sikandar Mirza.Desperately, on her marriage day she goes to Yusuf' house where his uncle tells him that Yusuf doesn't love him and has left for Allahabad.She comes back to her father but her father doesn't allows her to enter the house.When she goes to her father in laws they too don't accept her.Then she goes to a dargah and is fainted.When she wakes up up she finds herself in a brothel run by Naziran Bai.What happens then? It is the story.
