After '1920' acclaim, Vikram Bhatt lays down the backdrop for a new success: a terror film sporting a fresh starring cast of newcomers. 'Shaapit', his upcoming release (March 19), features Shweta Agarwal, whose talent had not been fully recognized by cinema until now (she is better known for her acting in TV show Dekho Magar Pyar Se). She acts opposite Aditya Narayan, none other than legendary singer Udit Narayan's son, who is well known for his appearances as the host of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge show.
Apart from holding the leading male role, the young man has also become involved in every aspect related to the film's soundtrack. He shares lyricist and music director credits with Sameer, Pakistani rocker Nazam Sherat and Chirantan Bhatt ('Mission Istanbul') and features as the album's leading voice, parallel to other prominent singers such as Shreya Ghoshal or Sunidhi Chauhan.
Aditya's straightforward vocals and the film's rock pop soundtrack with occasional flamenco influences are currently wooing audiences towards the theatres this upcoming March 19th. Keep an eye out for the unfolding of Bhatt's new secret: a tale of love and fear.
